Who We Are
Sales & Distribution,
Yannick grew up in sunny Provence in the south of France. He studied communication and got a Postgraduate degree. Since 2003 he lives abroad, first in Hungary and now in Vienna, Austria.
He started his career at the Audiovisual Department of the French Embassy in Budapest where he literally fell in love with cinema. After this he went to work as a sales manager for Telemedia InteracTV, at this time the world number 1 producer of live broadcasted TV game shows. There he managed to generate several millions of turn-over.
After a spell with IBM and while missing the film industry, he decided to join EastWest-Filmdistribution as a sales and acquisition manager. Since 2012 he has been responsible for the distribution of hundreds of titles, ranging across all genres and all origins.
In August 2018 he founded together with Luke Fizz-e-Motion in order to fulfill his dream of working only with films that he likes. Next to his love for cinema, Yannick loves music, football, reading, and traveling. He´s also a very good cook.
He is fluent in English, French and knows pretty well Hungarian.
From a young age, Luke nurtured a profound passion for music and cinema. At the age of 18 he moved to Chicago to complete his guitar studies, and then London, where he opened a record label distributed worldwide by Crysalis.
After 10 years working as a TV composer for Nokia, Channel 4, Lego, UK Government and the BBC amongst others, in 2009 he was offered to score the multi-award-winning air disaster film 'Last Flight to Abuja'.
The success of the latter will earn him a coveted African Movie Academy Award and a string of film offers followed both in the UK and US. In 2011 Luke co-founded consulting firm MEG, offering services on film finance.
Since 2012 Luke has produced and executive produced 5 films and 2 documentaries as well as having 2 other features and a series currently in various stages of production.
